    How to connect to Google free WiFi

    Hello T-Fans,
    Months ago, Google announced that it would be providing high-quality free Wi-Fi to Nigerians with the help of Google Station.

    Google Station is a platform for providing high-quality Wi-Fi hotspots that is fast, reliable, and free, especially in developing areas of the world.

    Google Nigeria Country Director, said in an event “Google Station will be rolling out in 200 locations in five cities across Nigeria by the end of 2019, bringing Wi-Fi to millions of people.”

    Leading Chinese OEM manufacturer, Tecno Mobile, which is known for partnering laudable innovations, partnered with google on this project.

    According to a source from Google office, the free Wi-Fi is now available in computer village.

    How to connect to Google free WiFi in Computer Village Ikeja on TECNO Phones
    • Switch on your Wi-Fi
    • Connect to “Free Google Station-21st Century”
    • Or wait to receive an available network notification (clicking on the notification will bring up the web page)
    • Click “Start” on the web page
    • Type in your phone number
    • Wait to receive an SMS from us. Once you do, click on the link in the SMS.
    Note: it can take up to 60 seconds to receive the SMS.
    That’s it! You’re connected


    Things you can do with the Google Free Wi-fi
    • Watch YouTube Videos
    • Download Apps
    • Searching of Information on Google
    Note
    If you are not receiving SMS codes to connect your device, it means you have activated DND (Do Not Disturb) on your phone.
    To enable you to receive the SMS – Text “ALLOW” to 2442 (Available to MTN, 9Mobile, AIRTEL, and GLO users)
    To re-enable DND – Text “STOP: to 2442 (Available to MTN, 9Mobile, AIRTEL and GLO users)


    This Google Wifi speed and service is consistently fast across locations all the time, it is reliable.
